However, that is not where the story ends. 2017 also promises a lot for the auto enthusiasts and packs in much excitement that will come in the form of a number of all-new two-wheelers.
Here, we have listed the top 5 motorcycles that are totally worth waiting for in the year 2017. TVS Akula 310 aka Apache RTR 300. The Apache RTR 200 4V was launched in the country in early 2016 and gained a lot of attention of the petrolheads countrywide. The motorcycle also won the Indian Motorcycle of the year 2017 title for some really deserving reasons. Now, TVS is planning to launch the one-up version of the RTR that will come based on the Akula 310 concept put on display at the 2016 Auto Expo. The upcoming Apache RTR 300 will be the first full faired motorcycle by the manufacturer and will be launched sometime by March 2017.
BMW G310R:- The much awaited BMW G310R has kept us waiting for more than a year now and we are really waiting for this baby Beemer. However, the good news is the wait for this motorcycle will come t0 an end within next three months. The motorcycle is the first product that has been developed by TVS and BMW under their joint venture to develop motorcycles under sub 500cc category.
2017 KTM 390 Duke:- The new KTM 390 Duke will be launched in the first half of 2017. The motorcycle has been inspired from the top of the line 1290 super duke in terms of design philosophy and comes with the same sharp fuel tank extensions along with the same sharp fuel tank extensions along with the razor sharp lines on the body. The motorcycle will come with numerous interesting features like ride by wire technology, multiple riding modes along with the usual equipment that comes in the existing version.
kawasaki W800:- The retro classic motorcycle has been spotted in and around the Pune dealership of Kawasaki a couple of times now. Powering the kawasaki W800 is a 773cc, V-twin engine that has been linked to a six-speed transmission system. The motor develops a maximum power output of 47 bhp along with a peak torque of 60 Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed transmission system. The Kawasaki W800 is rumoured to be launched in the country in early 2017.
Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0:- Out of the numerous product launches, the Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 is one of the few motorcycles for which most of us are waiting in intense anticipation. The bike has been spotted numerous times testing in recent and its official launch will take place in India sometime in this year only. The upcoming Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 will come with features like full LED headlamps, fully digital instrument console, upside down forks and a lot more to lure the buyers.
